Business Objects Consultant
A technically challenging opportunity exists with this Business Objects partnered pan-European Business/Technical Consultancy. Constant formal BO training is assured throughout your employment to ensure your subject matter expert status is enforceable and therefore a constant learning curve is guaranteed as you deliver cutting edge Business Objects-based business Intelligence solutions to their blue chip clientele. Business Objects Consultants must have a minimum of 2 years experience of Business Objects XI + 2 of the following: Hyperion Essbase / Oracle BI Enterprise / MS BI or Panorama, MS SQL Server 2005 or Oracle 9/10g skills (creating databases, SQL skills, tuning). In addition consultants should have experience in one or more of the following industry sectors: financial services, telecommunications or retail. Plus have good client facing skills and commercial awareness. Typical clientside responsibilities include: Engagement in assigned analysis, development, documentation, testing, implementation and training and support activities as directed; Participate in site visits with Technical Account Manager; Preparation of Project review documents as directed; Participation in project review meetings as required. Experience of any of the following would also be an advantage: Informatica; Data Stage; Ab Initio; Business Objects Data Integrator (BODI); Oracle Data Integrator; Oracle Warehouse Builder; MS SSIS. All Consultants will be required to travel and work on clients sites therefore mobility and flexibility are essential. Preference will be given to Business Objects candidates who have BECP accreditation.
