MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
To assist in the running of the business by actively managing, configuring and enhancing the core Micros systems covering Menu, labour and EPOS configuration and maintenance. A large part of the role will be ensuring the frequent changes take place without issue, and that products are correctly updated in line with changes in the product supply chain.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
PRIMARY
- Under the leadership of the Menu team manager Assist in the day to day running & configuration of the Micros Applications in use including but not limited to:
o MyLabor
o MyInventory
o Enterprise Management
o Micros RES
- Develop enhancements and changes to meet the requirements of the business
- Provide 2nd Level support for the above applications
SECONDARY
- Actively build knowledge of Micros applications within the service delivery team by creating best practice & procedure documentation.
- Assist in deployments and upkeep of above systems to maintain system reliability and integrity, some out of hours work will be necessary.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 working in a similar IT based service role
- Advanced skills in Excel & Office tools
- Knowledge of FTP and Scripting techniques
- Experience of One or more Micros products advantageous.
- Able to work with minimum supervision with great attention to detail.
- Dealing with customers effectively and responding to ad hoc requests
- Qualifications in the field of IT or 3 years practical experience in an IT support environment.
